Dr. Bryan Ramsey - Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Ramsey, a native of East Texas, attended Tyler Junior College before graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  He has practiced in the Tyler area since that time, coming to South Tyler Animal Clinic in 2008 to focus solely on companion animal medicine.

 

He is married to his lovely wife, Heather, and they have three beautiful children—Hunter, Abbie, and Caleb.  They share their home with Dr. Ramsey’s beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Dixie and three cats.

 

Dr. Ramsey is active in the local, state and national veterinary medical associations.  He currently serves as President of the East Texas Veterinary Medical Association and also serves on the board of the Tyler Animal Emergency Clinic.

 

 

Dr. Melanie Muhr - Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Muhr, a Tyler native, graduated from Robert E. Lee H.S. in 1996.  Following graduation, she attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX where she played NCAA Division III soccer for 4 years while earning her bachelors degree.  She then attended veterinary school at Texas A&M University and graduated in 2004.   Dr. Muhr returned to Tyler in 2006 to join South Tyler Animal Clinic. 

Dr. Muhr and her husband, Mark, have two beautiful daughters - Naomi and Anna.  They also have a lab mix named Kodi and a dachshund named Willie.

In her spare time, Dr. Muhr enjoys spending time with family and friends, church activities, playing indoor soccer, and water skiing.

 

Dr. E.M. Williams - Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Williams is a 1970 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.  After practicing veterinary medicine for 38 years in Shreveport, LA, he sold his clinic and moved to Tyler in 2008.  He is married to his lovely wife, Joan, and has 3 grown children.
